Numbers&Me

Reading a calendar

Grade 3 · Time and calendars

Each question shows a real month laid out as a calendar, with one date marked. The answer can only be found by reading the grid: counting days, following the weekday columns, or stepping a week at a time.

Four kinds of question come up: counting back from the marked date to today, finding the weekday a number of days later, finding the date of, say, the third Friday, and finding when a weekly club meets for the fourth time.
