Robots, owls, aliens, parrots, dragons and frogs have seen something hidden: the colour of a kite, where a ball is, which door has the prize, a secret number, the weather. Each says one thing about it. Usually the student is told who tells the truth and who fibs, and works out the answer or says yes or no; in some puzzles they spot the fibber from what is shown.
Everything a fibber says is false, so a fibber saying 'It is not 5' means it is 5. Every puzzle is checked to have exactly one answer, and the working goes through the speakers one at a time.
