Rate tables

Grade 4 · Ratio, rates and percentages

A short story states a rate, such as saving $15 every month or a kitchen using 16 boxes of juice a week. The student fills in the blank cells of a table of weeks, months or years.

The blanks are in the middle of the table, and the columns can jump by more than one period, so the change between columns has to be worked out from the story, not spotted in the numbers.
