Writing numbers in digits

Grade 3 · Number sense and place value

A number is written out in words, such as 'three billion, three hundred sixty-five million, four hundred sixty-one thousand', and the student types it in digits.

The numbers are large, so the hard part is putting the right digits, including zeros, in each group of three.
