US coins: pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. Some questions ask the student to put coins in a purse to make an exact amount, some to make it with as few coins as possible, and some to count what's already in the purse.
Some questions hold back one kind of coin ('no dimes today'), so the amount has to be made another way.
